FerriteCore is a Minecraft optimization mod that reduces memory usage through several technical improvements. The amount of RAM saved depends on your modpack and configuration, but it can significantly lower Minecraft’s memory requirements, helping large modded setups run more efficiently.
Some optimizations are designed for the client, while others can also improve server performance, so FerriteCore is recommended on both sides when possible. The mod is generally compatible with other optimization and content mods, although it is not compatible with Hydrogen on Minecraft versions where Hydrogen no longer receives official releases, including versions 1.18 and newer.
