Want to take your video creation and exploration in Minecraft to the next level? The Camera Utils mod is a client-side Fabric tool packed with super handy features for controlling your view. By default, you can instantly use the Z key for a Dynamic Zoom feature, and you can scroll your mouse wheel to smoothly adjust how far you zoom in. Plus, if you’re in third person, you can scroll out to an impressive 100 blocks away from your player to get awesome wide shots of your world or builds.
One of the coolest features is the Camera Detaching function, which locks your camera in one spot so you can move your player while viewing them from a fixed, third-person perspective. It’s perfect for setting up unique shots. The mod also adds two customizable third-person views, bound to F6 and F7, that you can tweak using Right Alt. In fact, pressing any of the mod’s keys with Right Alt will open a settings GUI so you can easily change or reset everything, including the advanced cinematic camera controls and movement smoothing. Just remember that this mod is not compatible with OptiFine.
