Let’s be honest, vanilla strongholds are pretty boring. You basically just rush through the stone hallways, find the portal, and leave. Luki’s Strongholds finally changes that by turning these dusty ruins into a place actually worth exploring. This mod overhauls the entire layout for versions 1.20 and 1.21, making the structure look way better while adding actual challenges. You’ll now run into Trial Spawners and Vaults, which give you something to do other than just following eyes of ender.
The loot is also a huge upgrade. You can find vaults packed with end-game items like Dragon’s Breath or Phantom Membranes to help you prep for the final boss. To get the good stuff, you’ll need to find the new Stronghold and Dragon Keys hidden around the rooms. It makes the journey to the End feel like a real dungeon crawl instead of a chore.
